YOUNG DOTTIE, Lingfield Park - seven furlongs
A home bred filly out of Auntie Dot Com,she had already made the frame a few
times including when runner-up to a red-hot favourite over 1m in her previous run, so the strong gallop over this shorter trip was probably in her
favour and she came from off the pace to cut down the leader well
inside the last furlong and win going away, setting the course record for a juvenile over this distance which still stands today.
